Most of the sites we create are hand coded, using the common web languages that allow stable, interactive sites as needed by our clients. This gives greater control of layout, content, and presentation over WYSIWYG programs commonly used today. Where someone might argue this is slow and makes maintenance difficult - good coding practices trumps overblown, rapid, computer mustered code.
For sites where there is a special need for rapid content change and maintenance we can use a CMS (Content Management System) whereby a clean and efficient administrative front end is employed along with documentation and training to allow a client and their people to work the web site as they see fit with minimal administrative function from Raging Toad's end.
